Are CANChecked Displays compatible ?

kdFi:
With the kdFi, connection to CANchecked is possible. CANchecked has its own connection guide for Megasquirt/KdFi.
On the display, the appropriate file (S-MS2.TRI or S-MS3.TRI) must be selected, and the control unit must be set to CAN Realtime Data Broadcasting in TunerStudio.
Megasquirt/kdFi:
- CAN bit rate: 500 kbit/s
- Base message identifier: 1520 (decimal)
- Broadcast rate: 10 Hz is sufficient

UAB:

Connection is also possible with the UAB, provided the CAN bus is configured accordingly.
The CAN bus is hardware-ready, but must be set up appropriately by the user if necessary.
The CANchecked display requires the following connections:

Connection              Terminal
------------------------------------
Power supply:          +12 V / Ground
CAN:                         CAN High / CAN Low

CANchecked also describes the simple connection as CAN High, CAN Low and power supply positive/negative.
Do not use too many 120-ohm resistors in the CAN bus. CANchecked points out that there should only be two terminating resistors in the CAN network. The display itself has a 120-ohm resistor, which may be active by default; the UAB also has one on the circuit board. No additional converter is required, but the TunerStudio/firmware settings and CAN termination must be correct.
